La Fura dels Baus will travel to Heerlen (Netherlands) to inaugurate the festival Cultura Nova with Afrodita y el Juicio de Paris. Presented on August 26th, at 21h30, at the Festival Plein (Burg. van Grunsvenplein 6411).

The viral show, directed by Pera Tantiñá, once again, will be a magical large scale performance with music and video. Also, Afrodita y el Juicio de Paris will include local participants. The performance attaches great importance to the human factor, needed to make this impressive 55 minutes long show.

This outdoor large-scale show tells the story between Athena, Hera and Aphrodite for possessing the apple “for the fairest”. The temperate goddess Paris is the judge that will tempt him by offering various gifts in return for his choice. Paris selects Aphrodite who will give him something that he is unable to refuse: the beautiful Helen, the precursor of the future Trojan War.
