Artistic director Àlex Ollé will give a talk at the University of Barcelona, at the Faculty of Philology and Communication, which is hosting the congress “The Impact of Franz Kafka (1924-2024)”.

The congress focuses on the impact and influence of the Prague author’s work on literature and other arts in the German, Spanish and Catalan-speaking world.

The program proposes a transversal analysis of the author’s work and will include a talk by one of the founders of La Fura dels Baus, Àlex Ollé, on stage staging under the title “The metamorphosis of La Fura dels Baus”. It will be on May 8 at 7:00 p.m., in the teachers’ room of the Josep Carner building. Ollé will talk about the representation of Fura dels Baus from The Metamorphosis and the staging of this work, and the duo Kafka Tanzt, from Vienna, will present the performance «The Bridge 1924-2024».
