Next Tuesday May 14th in the old Boulevard Rosa at Passeig de Gràcia 55 in Barcelona, will open the doors a new concept of museum, White Rabbit – Off Museum, a museum that wants to get away from conventionalisms and wants the public to feel, touch and interact with the different rooms.

White Rabbit, which pays homage to Catalan culture and Barcelona with local KM0 artists, commissioned La Fura dels Baus for the ‘Bocabadat’ room to tell the story of the theater company’s lineage with the city of Barcelona and how it took Catalan culture and the ‘Barcelona’ brand to the rest of the world.

‘Bocabadat’ is a chronological room. La Fura dels Baus and Barcelona: an energetic and transcendental relationship with the city that opened us to the world. Inspired by this vital bond and the DNA of the Fura language, we create works that take the show and the audience to another level. A milestone was the opening ceremony of the Barcelona Olympics in ’92, leaving more than 3.5 million spectators open-mouthed.

Even today, we break the fourth wall so that our audience is the protagonist in the first person. Transgression, innovation, visceralness, and eccentricity; all with a clear philosophy: the navel of everything is the human being, who brings our sculptures and constructions to life. Impactful images for memory that create an imaginary that never leaves our audience indifferent.
