What a night to remember! The 8th edition of Boom Festival opened with a powerful and groundbreaking performance: Emergency EXIT, a multidisciplinary spectacle merging music, theatre, multimedia art, and raw human energy into one unforgettable experience.

In its second-ever presentation, La Fura dels Baus and the EXIT Foundation transformed Boomland (Idanha-a-Nova) into a living canvas of art, nature, and collective consciousness.

With Satori’s hypnotic soundscapes and Eyesberg’s immersive visuals, the performance transcended reality, creating an atmosphere that was both otherworldly and profoundly human.

After two intense weeks of work, with long rehearsals, little sleep, and an extreme temperature shift —from 13ºC in Novi Sad to 35ºC in Idanha-a-Nova—, Pera Tantiñá and his team now deserve a well-earned rest.

The journey of Emergency EXIT continues in May 2026 at the Sea Star Festival (Croatia) and later in Barcelona (Spain) —date and venue to be confirmed.
