On April 5th at the Alinghi Red Bull Racing base in Barcelona’s Port Vell, La Fura dels Baus performed a show – Veles de Llum – at the first unveiling of the sailboat with the participation of more than 70 artists.

Under the captaincy of artistic director Carlus Padrissa, he wanted to represent the sail of the BoatOne racing yacht, his AC75, in real scale, with a giant human sail, which came out of the hangar to the ringing of the Alinghi Red Bull Racing bell – a huge brass bell engraved with the team’s logo that is used on every sailing trip and represents the union between Barcelona and Switzerland. In addition, the show also featured MediaPro, who were responsible for the visual content for the boat’s preamble.

With the presentation of BoatOne, the Swiss team Alinghi Red Bull Racing was the first team to present its boat, which will take part in the America’s Cup in Barcelona this summer.
