“Pastoral for the Planet”, an immersive performance with 360º projections around the entire theater, is based on the version of Beethoven‘s Symphony No. 6 (Pastoral Symphony, 1808). Carlus Padrissa and his cast will premiere the furan Pastoral on September 30 at the Beijing Music Festival, three years after its world premiere in Paris.

This performance in China is very important for La Fura dels Baus, not only because it will be the premiere of the show in Asia but also because it will be the first performance of the company in the country after its closure by COVID19.

On this occasion, for the performance of Pastoral for the Planet, we will have the prestigious soprano Sophie Karthäuser, conducted by Huang Yi with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.
