A large scale show by La Fura dels Baus directed by Pera Tantiñá will present El Salvador at the Expo Dubai next Saturday, October 2. The proposal will be a combination of contemporary dance and captivating acrobatics that will reflect the essence of El Salvador and also one of the main themes of the Expo Dubai 2020: to connect people. It will be at 5.50 pm at the Jubilee Park in Dubai: the show will last 20 minutes and it will be performed 4 times. La Fura dels Baus has developed the show with the collaboration of IM+C, a creative agency based in Barcelona and present in several cities around the world, including El Salvador.
Expo Dubai 2020, which maintains the year 2020 in its name, opens its doors next Friday, October 1, almost a year later than expected due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19. Dubai expects to receive 25 million visitors, 11 million of them foreigners. Expo Dubai 2020 aims to increase awareness about the challenges faced by humanity on a global scale. It is the world’s largest meeting place and offers many opportunities such as networking and promoting international relationships.
