La Fura dels Baus and 3Cat join forces again with the mixed reality show “Cants de la dona d’aigua”. A performance by Carlus Padrissa where La Fura puts the physical part with a mermaid (mezzo-soprano) set in a seabed with the scenography of the pool and the crane. 3Cat together with Produktia.tv is in charge of the realization and the immersive technology.

“Cants de la dona d’aigua” is a denunciation of human pollution with plastics, oils and a thousand other things in the world’s oceans. The objective of the staging is that humanity becomes aware of its actions, since those who suffer the most are the marine fauna and flora.
