This CD provides an in-depth definition of the FMOL (Faust Music On Line) project. The software included with the CD allows listeners to compose electronic synthesis music and send it through the internet. A selection from the more than 1,500 compositions received before the opening of F@ust 3.0 were included in the show and used in the soundtrack. Also, as an experiment, the virtual collaborators were registered as official co-authors with the author’s rights association, the Sociedad General de Autores.
As well as the special software track, this CD includes more than 17 tracks submitted by ten European composers including Jordà, Casanova and Arrizabalaga, creators of the software and members of the Fmol Trio, a group who has given various demonstrations and concerts on the Spanish electroacoustic music circuit.
