La Fura dels Baus introduces the imaginary of the presentation of the competition boat – BoatOne – of the Swiss team Alinghi Red Bull Racing with a giant human sail for this summer’s America’s Cup in Barcelona.

Countdown with a projection to reveal what will be the fastest boat in the America’s Cup by the Swiss team: design, engineering, imagination, aerodynamics… all under the same banner, the presentation of ‘BoatOne’.

With the Alinghi Red Bull Racing bell – a huge brass bell engraved with the team’s logo that is used for every outing at sea – the arrival of ‘BoatOne’ is announced as it glides from the hangar under floodlights, with stage music and artificial smoke and a blue tide of 75 performers.

Gradually, this tide is positioned and lifted by a crane representing the full-scale sail of the racing boat. The artists, with an Olympic musical thread, are doing their aerial choreography until they end up in the full position of the sail of the ‘BoatOne’.
